Summer Activities At The Shore That Won’t Break The Bank…..

With Summer right around the corner, there will be dozens flocking to the famous Jersey Shore. More specifically, the Monmouth County shore front area. Here are some fun, family friendly activities that won’t break the bank this upcoming 2017 summer season!

Navesink Twin Lights

The Twin Lights, located in Highlands New Jersey, is a famous landmark that has been guiding the boats traveling the Atlantic Ocean, specifically the New York Harbor, since 1828. Take the day to explore one of the Shore’s oldest historical landmarks. The museum holds dozens of significant pieces of history. Plus, if you’re not afraid of heights, take the climb to the top of the lighthouse and enjoy the view from 200 feet above sea level!

SilverBall Museum Arcade

Located in Asbury Park, New Jersey, SilverBall Museum Arcade is a functioning museum of America’s video game history. Guests can spend the entire day taking a stroll down memory lane. The arcade is stocked with 600 machines in rotation. These include: hundreds of pinball machines, air hockey, skee ball, and much, much more! Prices range from $7.50-$15.00.

Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park

Although there are many beaches along the Jersey Shore, there are none that offer quite as much as Seven President’s Oceanfront Park! Seven Presidents has something for the entire family: Tony’s place a waterfront playground, a highly renowned skatepark, and a sprawling beach with a boardwalk and snack bar. Seasonal park passes range from $45 for ages 13-17; $70 for adults 18 to 64; and $25 for adults 65 and older. Season parking passes are $70 and are effective through September 4th. Daily parking and access passes are $8.

Hartshorne Woods Park

Spend the day exploring beautiful Hartshorne Woods Park!  With over 14 miles of challenging trails, you can hike or cycle until your heart’s content. The awe inspiring views of the Navesink River will make this Park one of your favorite Jersey Shore spots. Open from 7am – 9pm all summer long.
