When selling a home it is just as important to have a home inspection as when you are buying a home.  A home inspection will give the seller an edge and “heads up” to any problem areas of the home before the house actually gets on the market.  Sellers can be prepared on what to expect and can fix any problems with major parts of the house.  Here is an interesting video that gives you a little insight to just what I am talking about.

I recommend to my clients that they have a home inspection before putting the home for sale.  Staging your home for sale is important and behind the scenes is more important.  Be prepared, know more than the buyer.
