The marketing of a property for sale is key to getting best results, this is a well known fact.  I am sick and tired of seeing properties marketed by real estate agents who just don’t care.  They throw the listing up in multiple listing and forget about it, and I mean really forget about it.  Here for example is a beautiful waterfront home for sale that is being marketed in June

This photo just wants to make you call for an appointment.  I don’t think so.  This is very damaging to the seller because precious months have passed by since the house was listed for sale at the beginning of the Spring season.  Spring is the best time to market properties for sale and get a wonderful waterfront home sold.

Marketing a property for sale is an ongoing daily task of updating and changing photos, comments, etc. to attract buyers in any way possible.  If your agent has old photos of your property, especially out of season, they do not have your best interests at heart.  Constantly check your listing on realtor.com or other web sites and make sure your real estate agent is actively marketing your property.  Having your most valuable possession ignored by buyers is a sign that something is wrong.
