Waves of Support Needed for Sea Bright Skimboarding Contest

Meet and greet the area’s top skimboarding pros, and help raise money for the 2010 Sea Bright SkimBash, by coming out to the North Beach Grille, 49 Atlantic Ave., N. Long Branch, for breakfast on Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year’s SkimBash takes place Sept. 11-12 on the Sea Bright Municipal Beach. Budget cuts make it necessary to ask for public support. Please come out and buy a T-shirt, take a chance on raffle tickets to win some great prizes, and get pictures and autographs from top skimboarding professionals, who will also be happy to answer your skimboarding questions and share some tips and tricks.

All proceeds benefit the 2010 Sea Bright SkimBash, Sea Bright Recreation, and the Surfers Environmental Alliance.
